Daily Itinerary


DAY 1: WEDNESDAY, JUNE 17

  • 2:00-6:00 pm — Players arrive, check-in at Morris Inn, welcome packets and apparel distributed
  • 3:00 pm — Campus walking tour for those checked in
  • 6:15 pm — Walk to Monogram Room
  • 6:30 pm — Reception in Monogram Room with video of 2007 Fantasy Camp game
  • 7:15 pm — Greeting by Patrick Steenberge, Camp Director and Jim Fraleigh, Monogram Club
  • 7:30 pm — Dinner in Monogram Room, Kickoff Talk by former player/coach

DAY 2: THURSDAY, JUNE 18

  • 6:45-7:30 am — Breakfast at Morris Inn
  • 7:40 am — Walk to stadium locker room to dress for practice
  • 8:30 am — Walk to Guglielmino Building
  • 8:45 am — Team meeting with Coach Weis followed by defensive meeting
  • 9:30 am — Walk to practice fields
  • 9:45-11:00 am — Practice #1 - Defensive Focus
  • 11:15 am — Shower and dress in stadium locker room
  • 11:45 am — Notre Dame Football Fundamentals presentation by coach/former player
  • 12:30 pm — Training table luncheon at the South Dining Hall, 2nd floor
  • 2:00 pm — Dress for practice
  • 2:30 pm — Offensive team meeting in “The Gug”
  • 3:00 pm — Walk to practice fields
  • 3:15-4:30 pm — Practice #2 - Offensive Focus
  • 4:45 pm — Shower and dress in locker room
    Walk to Morris Inn
    Coaches meeting to draft Blue & Gold teams
  • 7:15 pm — Transport to the College Football Hall of Fame
  • 7:30 pm — Tailgate Party dinner on the field at the College Football Hall of Fame, with VIP guest speaker
    Blue vs. Gold team selections announced
  • 9:15 pm — Transport to The Linebacker for “team meeting”
  • 10:30 pm — Bus returns to Morris Inn

DAY 3: FRIDAY, JUNE 19

  • 6:45-7:30 amBreakfast at Morris Inn
  • 7:40 am — Walk to stadium locker room
  • 8:45 am — Pre-practice meeting at “The Gug” – special teams
    Walk to practice fields
  • 9:45-11:00 amPractice #3 - special teams, game situations
    Teams separate to work on plays, formations, etc.
  • 11:15 am — Shower and dress in locker room
  • 11:45 am — Notre Dame Recruiting presentation by Coach
  • 12:30 pm — Training table lunch at South Dining Hall, 2nd Floor
  • 2:00 pm — Dress for practice
  • 2:30 pm — Tour of The Gug followed by ND Irish video in Gug auditorium
  • 3:00 pm — Team meetings in separate rooms
  • 3:30 pm — Walk to practice fields
    (in case of inclement weather, practice will be in Loftus)
  • 3:45-5:00 pmPractice #4 - team game prep on separate fields
  • 5:15 pmShower and dress in locker room
    Walk to Morris Inn
  • 7:30 pm — Dinner (TBA) with VIP speaker

DAY 4: SATURDAY, JUNE 20

  • 8:30 am — Team/position meetings with coaches
  • 9:15 am — Pre-game meal at Morris Inn
  • 10:15 amMass at The Grotto
  • 11:00 amWalk to locker room for Blue-Gold Fantasy Game
  • 12:00 pmLeave locker room for pre-game warm-ups, individual and team photos in
    Notre Dame Stadium (families permitted on field)
  • 12:40 pmTeam warm-ups
  • 1:00 pmReturn to locker room for pre-game instruction and preparation
  • 1:20 pmTeam exits locker room touching “Play Like a Champion” sign
    Run out of the tunnel
  • 1:25 pmIntroduction of all players and coaches followed by National Anthem
  • 1:30 pmFlag game with scoreboard, PA announcer, officials, etc.
    (4 quarters, with 20 minute half time in locker room)
    Families on-field for photos; visit locker room
  • 3:30 pmDress in locker room
  • 4:30 pmReception and dinner at Stadium Press Box, with guest speaker,
    Blue vs. Gold Fantasy Game video showing
  • 7:30 pmWalk back to hotel for post-post game party at Morris Inn Tent

DAY 5: SUNDAY, JUNE 21

  • 8:30 amWalk to JACC
  • 9:00 amAwards brunch at
    Monogram Room
    Closing comments
    Presentation of team photo and game video
  • 10:30 amWalk back to Morris Inn
    Check-out of hotel and transfer to South Bend airport as needed
